Director of Quality and InnovationOnPoint is seeking an organized, committed professional to fill the position of full-time Director of Quality and Innovation.  OnPoint’s Director of Quality and Innovation is to provide oversight and direction of all organizational quality improvement and innovation activities within the organization. In this role, the Director of Quality and Innovation serves on OnPoint’s Management Team and functions as the organizational point of contact for all quality related matters with MDHHS, the PIHP, and other internal and external stakeholders. The Director of Quality and Innovation also provides oversight and direction to the Utilization Management, Provider Network, Medical Records, and Health Information Management functions and adheres to applicable local, state, and federal requirements.

PAY RANGE/BENEFIT PACKAGE: 
Salary: starting at $100,391 annually - placement above minimum salary is based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in human services or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in health care setting overseeing quality community mental health setting with applicable quality innovation experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory skills and departmental management experience required.
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling or nursing, or related field preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Health Quality (CPHQ) or other certification a plus.
  • LEAN Process Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in CMH setting overseeing quality preferred.
  • CARF/JCAHO accreditation experience preferred.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides oversight and direction of the coordination and maintenance of OnPoint certifications (CMHSP, CCBHC, CARF) and external audits (LRE, MDHHS, HSAG).
  • Provides oversight and direction of the internal quality improvement program including the development of Quality Assessment and Performance Plan (QAPIP) and the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
  • Trains, mentors, and coaches teams within OnPoint to develop and sustain a culture of continuous quality improvement.
  • Coordinates organizational data collection, monitoring, analysis, and oversight of required metrics to ensure integrated data collection across programmatic service areas. This position is responsible for the development and refinement of metric-based reporting across OnPoint service lines.
  • Collaborates heavily with Director of Program Operations and Director of Evidence Based Practice to assure standards programs are meeting or exceeding established quality indicators.
  • Serves as the organizational representative on several regional and state committees including the LRE Quality ROAT, MDHHS Quality Improvement Council, and numerous organizational committees.
  • Provides oversight and direction to OnPoint’s Quality Improvement Council and all associated initiatives including providing monthly direction and oversight of the meeting agenda to assure inclusion of all current OnPoint service lines, programs, and activities.
  • Provides oversight and direction to the Provider Network team including specific oversight of OnPoint’s network adequacy.
  • Provides oversight and direction to the Medical Records team including specific oversight of the organizational implementation of contractually required consents and other key documentation.
