MEDICATION CLINIC SUPERVISOR: The Med Clinic Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of OnPoint’s Medication Clinic and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, ensuring high quality care and regulatory compliance. This role provides leadership to clinical and administrative staff, coordinates medication services, substance use services, and supports effective collaboration with prescribing providers, case managers, and behavioral health professionals. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to supporting individuals in their recovery and treatment plans.
PAY RANGE/BENEFIT PACKAGE:
Salary Range: starting at $63,885.71 up to $88,162.29 annually - placement above minimum salary is based on experience.

- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, psychology, social work, nursing, or a related field.
- Knowledge of medication management procedures and behavioral health treatments.
- At least five years of experience with people diagnosed with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and substance use disorders, including 1 year of relevant experience as a clinical or program supervisor
- Strong knowledge of psychopathology, mental health and substance use diagnostics and medications.
- Experience working within integrated healthcare system.
- Experience with outpatient scheduling and billing practices
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/co-occurring disorders/substance use disorders valued.
- Coordinate daily clinic operations including scheduling, medication delivery, and patient flow.
- Maintain a close working relationship with supervised staff to promote informed discussions about employee behaviors and performance.
- Support staff training, onboarding, and EMR training in coordination with HR.
- Provide leadership and successful execution of day-to-day operations for OnPoint’s Psychiatric Medication Clinic and outpatient MAT services.
- Participate in program development efforts at the direction of the Program Manager.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing requirements, and applicable regulations such as HIPAA or state health codes.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding clinic operations.
- Monitor inventory and ordering of clinic supplies including medication related materials.
- Ensure staff are providing mental health and substance use assessment, intervention, and case management consistent with the OnPoint and MDHHS policies, the laws of the State of Michigan, and the ethical standards of the respective profession.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems proficiently for documentation, scheduling, communication, teaching, and medication tracking following agency policy and privacy regulations.
- Ensure coverage for clinic staff absences, including filling in for positions as able per regulations and credentialing.
- Work with youth and adults with mental illnesses, intellectual and developmental disabilities, families, and substance use disorders to help them succeed.
