REGISTERED NURSE: As a Registered Nurse with OnPoint you will provide nursing services to OnPoint consumers who have a mental health, substance use or co-occurring disorder or intellectual/developmental disability, primarily focused on identification of chronic or emergent healthcare issues and conditions. The goal is to ensure physical health is integrated into overall service planning and delivery.
PAY RANGE/BENEFIT PACKAGE:
Salary Range: starting at $60,844.37 up to $83,965.23 annually - placement above minimum salary is based on experience.

- Registered Nurse degree with a State of Michigan License
- At least three years of nursing experience working with the target population.
- Must be a strong advocate of self-determination and a person first philosophy.
- Must be able to be empathetic to the target population and their families and caregivers.
- General working knowledge of the issues faced by the target population.
- Valid Michigan’s driver’s license, operating vehicle that is insured in accordance with agency standards, and a good driving record.
- Knowledge of psychiatric/behavioral health medications
- Experience in a public behavioral health setting.
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/co-occurring disorders/substance use disorders valued.
- Perform initial and annual primary care screenings and nursing assessments, as well as medication injections, RN medication reviews, and health appraisals.
- Provide care coordination for chronic health care conditions.
- Provide behavioral health screening and assessment, intervention, and case management consistent with funding, regulatory, agency, and best practice standards.
- Participate in various non-direct service activities including supervision, interdisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings, treatment planning, quality improvement, utilization review, and continuing education.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
