Executive Assistant: The purpose of the position is to support excellence in agency administrative performance, accountability and leadership for the board, administration, employees, community members and all entities that contract or do business with OnPoint.
The Executive Assistant is responsible for assisting the Chief Executive Officer in their scope of
responsibilities by attending to the administrative tasks required for that position. This involves
direct involvement with the Board of Directors to meet their needs and to ensure all records of their meetings and activities are maintained in a professional and legally compliant manner. The
Executive Assistant represents OnPoint' s leadership internally and externally as needed to
accomplish the work of the agency, including preparation of reports and correspondence as
needed.
This position also supports the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer on an
as-needed/as-able basis. The position maintains some of OnPoint' s communications efforts by
working with others to maintain print materials, website, social media, and intranet content (and the agency brand through all those areas).
PAY RANGE/BENEFIT PACKAGE:
Salary: starting at $50,059.93 to $69,082.57 annually - placement above minimum salary is based on experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s degree with three to four years’ office support experience OR equivalent, verifiable office support experience.
- Effective speaking and writing skills and accurate record keeping skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior successful experience working in a Michigan community mental health (CMHSP or PIHP) agency.
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/co-occurring disorders/substance use disorders.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as Assistant to the OnPoint Board of Directors, including:
- Attend Board meetings.
- Prepare and/or coordinate information for dissemination to the Board.
- Record, prepare and distribute meeting minutes of the Board, Finance, Program, RRAC and Executive Committees and other meetings.
- Provide administrative support for the Board as needed.
- Maintain files and minutes related to the Board.
- Serve as Executive Assistant for the office of the Chief Executive Officer. Includes:
- Provide or coordinate administrative support for the Chief Executive Officer
- Prepare correspondence.
- Make telephone contacts and arrange meeting times for the Chief Executive Officer as requested.
- Provide administrative support for the Management Team.
- Takes minutes at other meetings as requested.
- Participate in agency committees as applicable (Policy, Health and Safety, etc.).
- Develop agency brochures and communications resources as requested. Update and post on Intranet and Internet, as applicable.
- Facilitate changes to agency website directly or through vendor as requested/authorized.
- Submit Facility and IT related tickets for the agency.
- Assist with coordinating external vendors for onsite maintenance and repairs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EQUIPMENT/TECHNOLOGY KNOWLEDGE:
- Advanced proficiency in the use of applicable software programs and applications used by OnPoint, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems. Basic proficiency in the use of standard office equipment such as printers, scanners, fax machines, calculators, etc.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
