SALARY/BENEFIT PACKAGE:

Salary base: starting at $64,874 - Placement above the minimum is based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in a discipline that supports public and third-party reimbursement.
  • State of Michigan License, certification, or eligibility required.
  • Professional experience working with and supporting the target population required, with demonstrated empathy and respect for their resilience and capacity for growth and change.
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) strongly preferred or interest in obtaining certification.
  • Strong advocate of self-determination and a person first philosophy.
  • Valid Michigan’s driver’s license, vehicle insurance, operating vehicle and clean driving record.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a strong and diverse team.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Behavioral health assessment, service planning, and therapy according to accreditation, funding, regulatory, agency and best practice standards.
  • Provide services through interdisciplinary team structure, with strong emphasis on coordination, communication, and collaboration.
  • Participate in supervision, staff and team meetings, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Document services according to agency, funding, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
