SUD Recovery Management Clinical Supervisor: OnPoint is looking for a dynamic, organized, and dedicated professional to join our team as a full-time SUD Recovery Management Clinical Supervisor. In this role, you will provide daily operational leadership and oversight for outpatient and community-based substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health services, ensuring programs are delivered effectively and in compliance with funding requirements, regulatory standards, agency policies, and evidence-based practices.
PAY RANGE/BENEFIT PACKAGE:
Salary Range: starting at $63,885.71 up to $88,162.29 annually - placement above minimum salary is based on experience.

- Master’s degree in human services or a related behavioral health field.
- Must possess State of Michigan licensure as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Limited Licensed Master's Social Worker (LLMSW), Licensed Psychologist, Limited Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Limited Licensed Professional Counselors (LLPC)
- One of the following credentials through the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP):
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC),
- Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), or
- Active CAADC Development Plan in good standing with MCBAP or willingness to pursue within one month of hire
- 3 years of professional experience working with and supporting the target population required.
- Strong advocate of recovery-oriented systems of care, person-centered planning, and outcome-focused service delivery required.
- Full Master’s level clinical license through the State of Michigan (LARA) (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LP, LMFT).
- Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) credential through the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (MCBAP), or active CCS Development Plan in good standing with MCBAP.
- 1 year of relevant experience as a clinical or program supervisor
- Certification in relevant evidence-based practices
- Public behavioral health system experience.
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/co-occurring disorders/substance use disorders valued.
Program Oversight and Service Delivery
- Provide day-to-day operational leadership for designated outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health programs and services.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with all applicable funding requirements, regulatory standards, agency policies, and evidence-based practices.
- Model and promote a culture of exceptional, individualized service delivery characterized by ongoing assessment, responsiveness, flexibility, measurable outcomes, and effective coordination of care.
- Monitor program operations and identify trends related to service delivery, target populations, service gaps, and risk management needs.
- Provide direct supervision to designated staff members.
- Establish and maintain a consistent schedule and structure for individual supervision meetings.
- Provide regular feedback on staff performance to ensure adherence to funding, regulatory, agency, and best practice standards.
- Review and monitor clinical documentation and service records to ensure compliance, quality, and timely completion.
- Complete staff performance evaluations in accordance with agency policies and timelines.
- Participate in the recruitment, screening, onboarding, orientation, and training of program /staff.
- Participate in utilization management and capacity planning processes by providing operational insight and supporting program analysis.
- Implement program procedures and operational improvements as directed by the Program Manager.
- Maintain awareness of staff strengths, performance challenges, and professional development needs to support effective team functioning.
- Develop and maintain strong internal partnerships to support interdisciplinary collaboration and coordinated service delivery.
- Support external partnerships that enhance collaboration and promote integrated care for individuals served.
- Maintain a clinical caseload as assigned or as needed to support program operations.
- Participate in agency leadership teams, committees, and organizational initiatives as directed by the Program Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
